(not sure what I was smiling at in this??)
Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great spring weekend! Mine is EXTREMELY windy for some reason, and looking out the window now looks a bit like there's a giant fan blowing on everything, but hey, it's not snowing! (that's legit what I think on every day that it's below 50 degrees, winter has traumatized me people!) Anyhoo, this week's video is something that I haven't focused a video on lately, I did a lookbook! My last lookbook was for Fall 2018 and this time I did something a bit different. Since I'm Catholic, on Easter weekend we go to church for 4 days in a row: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday. The first 3 days are called the Triduum, and the times of masses range from literally 3pm to 8:30pm. My family always dresses up when we go to church, so I obviously had a field day (well, weekend) picking out my outfits. In this video I show you all of my outfits for all of the days that we went to church, and I hope you find it inspirational for your wardrobe!
Something that I've found that's an easy rule of thumb for dressing up in a hurry, (because let's face it, how many of us TOTALLY underestimate the amount of time it takes to get ready *I raise both hands*) is to find a dress to base everything off of. When you have hours to try things on and find the perfect outfit, feel free to mix 'n match tops and bottoms until you feel perfect. If you're like me and typically are rushed getting ready, just find a colorful dress and find a few pieces of jewelry to match with shoes. Also, whenever I'm trying to plan jewelry for an outfit I always decide what type of jewelry goes with the outfit. I'm talking silver, gold, rose gold, beaded, whatever matches best. What do you think?
