My Current Favorite Bible Verses & What I've Learned From Them #2 // Episode 105

Hello everyone! I hope you're having an awesome weekend! This week's video and blog post are meaningful ones about my current favorite Bible verses, and this is the second post of this type I've done. I really enjoyed writing, filming, and sharing the last video and everything so I hope you enjoy this one as well! This is a collection of verses I've been trying to memorize and think about lately, as well as some older verses I memorized. Let's get into it!

2 Timothy 4:17

"But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth."

~ This verse is such a good encouragement for sharing your faith because it really tells you how God will provide you with the strength and resources to glorify Him, and how He has a plan and will provide for you always!

Psalm 27:14

"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

~ This verse is so so good to think about right now because we don't know when things will get back to normal, or if they will ever be normal again, but through this verse we know that God has a plan. If we ask Him for strength and stay positive then we can get through anything in His will.

1 Peter 5:6-7

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

~ I love this verse because it's so hard to not compare yourself to others, and one way to seemingly feel better about yourself is to boast and brag. This verse consoles us when we don't feel seen, heard, or acknowledged that God will lift us up for HIS glory when the time is right, we just have to stay humble. His plan is better than we could ever imagine, so be patient and wait for it! Lift up your anxiety to God and let Him handle the rest!

Proverbs 16:3

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."

~ Similar to the last one, this verse gives us hope that whether or not we're getting acknowledgement for our hard work God will lift us up for His glory in His timing. Give the effort to God and let Him use it for good!

John 10:10

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

~ This verse is one that I like to think about specifically on race day when I'm feeling very stressed out and anxious, because I think that Jesus came so that I may take advantage of good opportunities and glorify Him with them. Because of Jesus we can have radical joy, joy when it doesn't make sense, and enjoy this life because we can give our stress and anxiety to Him.

I hope those verses encouraged you and be sure to check out the video with more explanations on why I love them so much!!

🙏✨💫❤️
