We're back with another edition of photos from the summer swim meets!! My family had the joy of attending the championship meet for our dear family friends and got to cheer on Brynn and Launa in the big leagues. It was so much fun to cheer, as usual, and this time I couldn't resist but take more photos. The atmosphere is so much fun and both times we've gone, it has inspired me to love the pure sport more. Talk about childlike joy! Capturing the candid moments of kids preparing, competing, and just living life in that environment is so much fun. In the collection of photos from last time I was able to capture more of the post-race emotions, as we were stationed at the opposite end of the pool from where they start. This time we were set up at the end of the pool with the diving blocks, which was perfect for observing and capturing the pre-race emotions. Kids preparing for their swim race with all of the emtions from nervous to carefree, what joy. It was also cool and fascinating to capture the spectators, as there was a lot of little kid siblings just passing time in a myriad of ways while waiting for their siblings to compete.
I love this gallery and the impromptu photography of these summer swim meets has been so inspiring. Enjoy the photos!!
