August... the month of all months. August inevitably holds so much. Leaving home, moving into a new home, saying hello to new people and places and saying goodbye to old ones. This August was no exception! I began at home in Pennsylvania and ended in Savannah, Georgia.
One of the biggest joys of this month was getting to see my dear friends Anna and Coco in NYC for a few days. Reuniting with high school friends is always so sweet and this trip together was so exciting as we all got to share how we've been finding our ways through our first year of college. Near the end of August I also had the joy of showing my boyfriend Roan around my home in PA, as he'd never been before and it was about time he saw that part of my world. We adventured around Hollidaysburg and had a blast exploring Pittsburgh together. The sweetest part of this month by far however was simply the moments shared with my family, laughing, making art, running, watching movies, and enjoying the last sips of summer. Saying goodbye is never easy but the joys of this summer rejuvenated me creatively and emotionally for the upcoming year.
