Hello hello lovely people!! To me, August is a bittersweet month of soaking up the last remnants of summer at home while getting excited for the upcoming school year. One of my favorite things to do over the summer is visit my high school best friend Anna at her home in New York City, and every summer that we've shared a visit it's created such special memories.
Last week when I visited her we happened to be able to meet up with our other best friend Coco who now is a student at NYU in Manhattan. Getting the trio back together after over a year apart since graduation was so sweet and it was so lovely to spend time together! Over the three days I was there we were able to spend two days in the city and one at Anna's family's yacht club in Connecticut, and while I neither sail nor live in CT, it was a very fun New Englander style day. I also had the opportunity to meet Sam Su, a fellow photographer who lives in NYC and snapping a few quick portraits of him added to the photo journal of this trip. I'm so thankful to have been visiting Anna (and now Coco!) in NYC for all these years and can't wait to see where the year ahead takes us!!
